Purchasing Associate. This replacement position will be need someone with strong analytical skills and communication skills to assist in the purchasing and procurement of raw materials, parts and non-manufacturing items for a shared service centre and also several manufacturing sites. You will also manage some supplier quality issues too. This company are a growing diagnostics and medical technology device company who in recent years have completed the acquisition of several other companies to become a world leader in the fight against highly infectious diseases. Responsibilities: Generate purchase orders, working closely with the purchasing lead to manage demand and any supplier issues. Work with supplier quality department to ensure compliance to ISO13485. Promote continuous improvement measures and projects with suppliers and also internally. Manage supply and demand onsite and with neighbouring sites too. Work closely with warehousing and production on cost and waste reduction. Monitor and develop purchasing KPIs. Requirements: Must have a degree within Supply chain, engineering or somethingsimilar. 1 year or more experience within a highly regulated engineering environment.
