Supplier Quality Engineer | 12-month contract | Galway | Cork. Our client, one of the leading medical device companies based in both Cork and Galway are looking for an experience Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. The candidate can be based in the Galway or Cork site. R equirements: Provides engineering support for activities related to supplier selection and evaluation, material qualification, supplier performance and receiving inspection. Provides guidance to BSC Purchasing and Engineers in applying supplier quality system requirements. Assesses supplier capabilities through direct visits, technical discussions, and quality system audits. Contributes to and participates in Material Review Boards. Contributes and participates in supplier performance reviews. Assists in establishing and implementing Supplier QA Department improvement goals. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of related quality standards, including ISO and GMP. Requirements & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Quality Assurance, (min HETAC level 8. Minimum2 years’ experience in an Engineering / Quality role. Have lead assessor experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Quality System Requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as good leadership abilities. Have the capacity to handle multiple development aspects of assigned projects.
