Senior Sales Representative

Looking for a Senior Sales Representative to work for a leading logistics company. This is a nationwide role and will be a mixture of account management and new business development. Key responsibilities: Achievement of sales targets. Understand the needs current and potential customers and build good working relationships. Complete proposals and quotations in a timely manner. Exceeding customers expectations. Responding to and following up on all incoming sales enquiries to the closing of the sale. Research and understand the market and related products. Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales. Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations. Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues. Key requirements: At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Proven ability to seek out new business from SOHO to though to large SME. Proven track record in winning added value business. Proficient at playing a leading role in formulating proposals from enquiry to final presentations. Excellent selling, representation, and inter-personal skills. Excellent people skills with the ability to form strong relationships with clients. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work under pressure. Fully fluent in the English language. Fully PC Literate.
