12 month contract role. job overview: the project manager is responsible for managing complex strategic operations projects aligned with the companys goals. they monitor and drive departmental projects from project planning through launch, including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending, with particular emphasis on mdr and international labelling for medical device. primary objective is to deliver projects on schedule, within project budget, meeting all technical requirements, and within product cost of goods target. duties and responsibilities: develops and manages project objectives, work assignments and schedules in connection with the regulatory teams on mdr and labelling. maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving issues, and proactively managing risks/opportunities. manages cross-functional project team to achieve project objectives. manages the suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors on each project. follow all quality system procedures, in particular in mdr and labelling. desired qualifications and skills: ideally a degree or similar academic qualification in the bio medical, biomedical engineering or related area. a minimum of 6 years experience in supply chain operations with a minimum of 2 those in advanced pm operations roles. expertise in project management in mdr and labelling as they affect medical devices/ medical device production and operations. experience with supply chain agreements and suppliers and external vendors and consultants in operations in medical device arena. excellent computer skills, including microsoft project, visio, and office. exceptional organization skills to keep track of a high volume of documents. contact brenda on 0858723761, brenda.flannery@cpl.ie. full eligibility to work in ireland required for this role.
