Our client is a leading energy-efficient technology manufacturer that is passionate about creating environmentally-conscious products without compromising high performance. They are seeking a skilled Senior Dev Ops engineer to join their team in Galway. What are the responsibilities: Contributing to the multi-disciplinary DevSecOps core team in Connected Solutions. Managing the CI/CD pipeline, which includes tasks such as helping to transition the CI/CD pipeline to AWS, optimising automation and security, and reviewing cloud native and alternative applications to enhance the pipeline. Ensuring implementation of Secure SDLC policies/industry best practices. Providing platform support to Dev teams and supporting development project. Monitoring security status of developed software by reviewing security scans. Using micro services and container technology to re-architect and improve the environment/software. Harmonising objectives of different teams and driving improvement and innovation. What skills/qualifications are desired: Excellent diagnostic skills. Strong knowledge of Linux OS, MacOS and Windows operating systems. Experience working in in Developers, DevOps and Software Engineering teams. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Nexus, Jenkins, BitBucket, Fisheye/Crucible and JIRA. Proficiency in multiple of the following languages: Javascript, Java, C, Python, SQL, C# Experience with AWS including native CI/CD tools and monitoring utilities. Strong leadership and organisation skills. Experience with container technologies is advantageous. Experience with DevOps tools also an advantage. Familiarity with audit processes and standards would be beneficial.
