Systems Engineer. I am keen to find a Systems Engineer who will be a key part of a Systems Design Team supporting NPI/NPD products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a technical environment to ensure the R&D team have clear requirements & provide oversight on development specifications. You will ideally come from one of the following areas automotive, aerospace, defence etc. Core Job Responsibilities you will: - Partner with Engineering, Service, Product & Project Management teams across multiple platforms to ensure product requirements are developed & translated into clearly defined requirements for the R&D teams. Coordinate internal & external efforts to ensure product & customer requirements are captured, specifications documented, necessary milestones identified & project schedules are met. Facilitate workshops & idea events with cross-functional teams to map out key milestones & associated deliverables. Lead the assurance that technical performance meets system requirements. Manage the delegation of Control, Software & Hardware Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System ( FRACAS ) to relevant teams for updates & resolution until this has been resolved. Identify opportunities & implement processes to continuously improve communication flow throughout the development process. Demonstrate an ability to work in a team environment & collaborate with teams in multiple locations. Business travel up to 10% when it is safe to do so but a mix of working from home and in the office in Ireland. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Eng. etc with at least 4 years of Systems or Controls engineering experience. Master's Degree in Engineering is a plus. Key Competencies: Exp in Systems Engineering &/or Control Systems design. Knowledge in refrigeration, HVAC, agricultural, automotive, aerospace, defence, construction equipment welcomed. Exp with designing & supporting control solutions for rugged applications in harsh environments is a plus. Ability to quickly prioritise issues/requests. Capable of troubleshooting when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated timeframe. Exp using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or similar tools is desirable. Exp with Agile in a product development culture & practices is desirable. Exp in control system modeling using (Matlab / Simulink) is a plus. Understand of controls systems design (h/ware & software) inc. instrumentation, HMIs & communication networks (CAN. Strong communication skills, presenting, listening & informing. & communicate at all levels in an organization. A great salary and benefits package is available for the successful person.
