R&D PRODUCT TECHNICAL MANAGER - COUNTY GALWAY. Key Responsibilities of position: In this role you will be accountable for the project deliverables. You will be in charge of robust design in line with the business targets. Apply standardisation rules, and exceptionally will request de-standardisations based on sound justifications. Call for all necessary design reviews. Make sure that Design Reviews of other networks are happening in a timely manner. Represent the R&D function to the customer. Interface with the customer for the R&D elements of the project, break down and cascade internally customer requests and needs. Report and escalate to the Project Manager or R&D Manager as needed. You will be responsible for detailed scheduling and budgeting: Contribute to the identification of needs in terms of resources, equipment, investment.  Establish detailed breakdown of the activities needed to meet the project milestones. Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget. Management of contributors: Daily management of all R&D contributors. Assign to them the work packages needed. Regularly review with the R&D Manager or Project Manager and the Department Managers to check alignment between needs and availabilities. Interested applicants should have: An Engineering or an equivalent degree. Minimum 3 years' experience in R&D development or similar.
