Rapid promotion to Senior Tax Manager: If you are an ambitious, promotion-ready Tax Manager, this job offers you a fantastic opportunity to climb to Senior Tax Manager level within a year! A newly created job in a blue-chip US multinational, covering all tax heads, including corporation, R&D, VAT & Employment/Global Mobility Tax, you will report to the VP of Global Tax in HQ America and the Finance Director of their rapidly expanding Galway site. Carving out an Ireland Manager job from the American Corporation Tax team, you will have full autonomy for all tax matters for Ireland within the international tax structures, including tax planning, analysis & compliance, as well as a chance to lead regional and global tax projects relating to acquisitions, re-orgs and rationalisations.  A hands-on, influential job: The eyes and ears on the ground, you will form connections and relationships with the manufacturing senior leadership teams, and functional leaders, to understand what is happening at ground level and translate it for tax purposes, thus giving you a highly visible and influential role with excellent scope for growth and development. Your job location: Initially a fully remote job due to Covid, this job is expected to be a 3 days, 2 days hybrid role, between the Galway site and home, with potential flexibility to work additional days from home given the nature your job.
