Test Engineer - County Galway. In this role you will be responsible for all the Test Equipment in the Production Unit. This will include TRP (machine/cell output efficiency), TLP and scrap. Continuous Improvement is an integral part of the job. Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation are also a fundamental part of the job. Job Responsibilities: • Define and implement TLR & TRP action plans to maintain and improve the company’s KPI's. • Develop and take ownership of Test equipment in line with the resource plan. • Generate Test System Process Qualification Plans in conjunction with the Quality Dept. i.e. Capability Studies and R&R Studies for presentation both internally and to customers. • Implement and maintain the process / product quality standards in line with the company/customer standards. • Liaise with Process Development Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to ensure that solutions can be found to existing and future issues affecting output & yield. • Generation of Project Documentation – Timing Plans, Build Reviews, Process Validation Reports, OEE Reports, Operator Instructions. • Define Training Requirements for Operations/Technicians following changes in Production –product or process. • Provide Test System development plans / cost to support the test improvement activities. • Maintain & implement 5S Principles. • Presentation of the Test Systems to both internal & external customers. • Resolve Customer Quality Issues in conjunction with Process / Quality Engineer or other resources as required. • Support operations in resolving technical issues within Sustaining Operations. • Implement ECO’s and Production Permits and validate the changes. Interested applicants should have: Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent discipline. Experience within electronics manufacturing environment. Experience in any of Pneumatics, GPIB, RS232C interfaces, sensors and PC/PXI I/ cards an advantage. Experience of C, C++, Python programming or similar an advantage (not essential.
