Social Media Marketer

Are you excited by social media, qualified and experienced in its platforms and applications, results driven and motivated by challenge, and looking for a part time position in 2019?

Burren College of Art seeks a qualified and passionate marketer to design and implement a social media strategy to improve our visibility and outreach across platforms. In addition to proven  social media expertise, the ideal candidate will have good copy writing skills and marketing knowledge. They will work in close association with the Director of Marketing and Admissions, using social media to complement and enhance the college’s international marketing policy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for delivering content across social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter as well as exploring new platforms which would enhance outreach for our programmes.
  • Content creation and management including images and video.
  • Website updates in conjunction with social media marketing campaigns and general programme promotion. (Wordpress base).

It is envisaged that the position will involve 8 hours per week initially, beginning in February 2019. Work can be carried out at the College campus in Ballyvaughan, or conducted remotely. Ideally the successful candidate will have good knowledge of the Burren and live in Co. Clare or the surrounding counties.
